A work by drummer Masahiko Togashi, who made major contributions to the development of Japan's jazz scene—from modern jazz to free jazz. This live recording features a large ensemble including Masahiko Satoh, Kazutoki Umezu, Nobuyoshi Ino, Isao Suzuki, and others. The album is superb throughout, from the weighty Al-Alaph (Opening) and the exotic, mystical Wind to the intense, interwoven improvisations of Street and the minimal rhythm–driven Hole A double LP.
