We first encountered Emily Foden's magical way with dyeing yarn when we worked in the knitting shop Loop, in London. Sold under the name Viola, each skein was perfectly imperfect, not to mention unique, with tiny splashes of colour. Whenever a new shipment came in we would covet that specific dye lot of yarn. Who knew when we'd see another skein like it?
